Phillip Lewis will discuss how to add layers of meaning and depth to your story or novel through a variety of techniques, including literary, historical, or cultural allusions, symbolism, allegory, and others, with numerous examples from well-known and some lesser-known works of fiction, including his own novel, The Barrowfields.
