DECEMBER MEETING - LIVE AND IN PERSON!

We are writing the next chapter of our club…returning to in-person monthly meetings in a new home:

Tyvola Senior Center, 2225 Tyvola Road, Charlotte

We’ll christen our new space by celebrating the holidays and our return to the real as we hold our Annual Critique Group Meeting! As always, our monthly meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. with social time - the meeting will start at 7:00 p.m.

Come and be merry, meet old friends, make new friends - and join or create a critique group to launch your new year! If you cannot attend but are interested in participating in a critique group, please contact president@charlottewritersclub.org, providing your name, genre(s), location, and what you seek in a critique group (including in-person or online), and we’ll do all we can to help you find the right fit for your work.

COVID

Since COVID and its spawn remain part of the plot, we need your help to keep us all safe. To attend in person, we ask that you provide proof of COVID vaccination and, while in the building, wear a face covering over your mouth and nose.

Proof of vaccination:

Please copy or take a photo of your vaccination card and email it to

membershipcwc@yahoo.com. You’ll have to do it only once and you'll be on our VIP List. As you arrive for the meetings, we will check you off the list. We will also accept showing vaccination cards at the door as a last-minute emergency—though not our preference because we don’t want to have to turn anyone away as we follow city & county mandates.
